Goal and rules
Place stones on intersections. A connected group is captured when all its adjacent empty points, or liberties, are filled. Keep groups connected and work to secure more territory.
Getting started
Practise solo or join a room, then tap an empty intersection. Use pass when appropriate to finish, and check the scoring result at the end.
Tips for your first game
Check your own groups' liberties before chasing a capture. A small board is useful for practising connections, cuts and making two eyes.
